Types of Neglect

To better understand child neglect, our assessments need to break it down into different types. The neglect typology for our tool (amended from Horwath (2007)) focusses on these neglect subtypes: medical, emotional, educational, social and physical neglects, and lack of supervision or guidance.

These are represented in our neglect theory of change.
